If I stay
In this book, If I stay, their is a lot to do with setting. Their are
many details that need to be said about the surroundings of the
characters. The setting when the car crash is in place is very
important. "The road has some patches of snow, but mostly just wet." The
wet roads and sixty miles an hour plow that was plowing straight in to
the passengers side had caused the car to eviscerated. At this point, Mia has no idea where her family is. She doesn't know anything, she assuming everyone got throw from the car just like her. "The pavement grows slick and there are gray chunks of what look like cauliflower." She says this as shes trying to find the rest of her family, she then realizes after the docter's get there that her mom is being wrapped in a plastic bag and her dad is getting a sheet covered over him. The author makes sure their is a lot of detail that goes in to setting.
