If I stay

The book If I stay by Gayle Forman is a favorite book of mine. I finished the book a couple of weeks ago and it always comes across my mind. It is a book about a girl who loves listening and playing music, and her boyfriend Adam is a big part of her life as well. Her family gets in a car accident, her whole family dies, and she has to decide if she wants to stay or go. I chose this book because I saw the trailer and I love reading the book first and then watch the movie after. I like making my own visuals first. A lot of lives have been taken earlier then expected in car accidents. Its sad knowing that car accidents can take valuable lives. Waking up with no family could be the hardest thing she would have had to do. My connection is that recently there has been a couple car accidents that make a impact on the whole community. When someone leaves a lasting impact you know they made an impact as a whole. Mia hall, the main character, has a big impact on music and her boyfriend. The song I picked that made me think of this book is "Say Something" by A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera.
