Just One day

 I Highly suggest reading Just One day by Gayle Forman. If you are a fan of Gayle Forman's book If I stay, then would will definitely enjoy this book. Just one day is a story about a girl, Allyson, and a boy, Willem. The first time they meet, they had a connection. The second time they met, It was fate. Allyson decided to follow Willem to Paris. One night, they had a lot of fun. The next morning, she woke up not knowing where she was. "I reach for Willem, but he's not there....I check my watch, but my wrist bare"(132)

During this part of the book, I made connection to an Avril Lavigne song "I'm with you." The reason I chose this is because both Avril and Allyson are going through the same kind of situation. When Avril says "I'm looking for a place
I'm searching for a face
Is anybody here I know
'Cause nothing's going right
And everything's a mess
And no one likes to be alone

Isn't anyone trying to find me?
Won't somebody come take me home" This is like when Allyson Is searching for the face she thought was loyal. The face she followed to Paris. The face of Willem.
