This little room is so comfortable and safe to little Jack, but his mother knows that this place is no good. His mother has been held there for seven years, just when she was nineteen a man came up to her asking her for help because he thought his dog was dying, little did she know it was all a lie. After she woke up from the car ride the guy/Old Nick told her she would be staying here for a while. Now that her little boy Jack is finally five she's planning a way to get out from this eleven-by-eleven foot room.
A teacher told me it was good so I started to read. This book is very suspenseful and that's why it interests me. People rely on others to get out of tuff situations. In this book the mother can only rely on her five year old son and herself, just like how in a Separate Peace by John Knowles, Gene comes to Finny for almost everything. When they get in trouble for anything like skipping Gene always lets Finny clear it up. In Room the mother trusts Jack to do what she tells him so they can get out of this mess.
